Mi presento.
Mi chiamo Gianni, sono nato il 18/10/1971 in Piemonte, dove vivo tuttora in un piccolo paese in provincia di Cuneo.
Ho iniziato a maturare la mia passione per la fotografia sin da ragazzo, scattando a caso e non conoscendo alcuna nozione tecnica.
Comprai la mia prima reflex nel 1990, una Zenit di produzione russa senza aver la più pallida idea di come andasse utilizzata.
I primi insegnamenti mi giunsero dal fotografo del paese e iniziò così il mio approccio al meraviglioso mondo della fotografia. Acquistai, di lì a poco, la mia prima Canon e mi buttai in questa passione con convinzione puntando a migliorare sempre più la qualità delle immagini.
Nel 2005 passai ad una Canon digitale e rivoluzionai completamente il mio modo di fotografare, soprattutto velocizzando i tempi di produzione.
Ma la vera rivoluzione fu, non tanto migliorare l’attrezzatura, piuttosto seguire un corso e i consigli di un bravissimo fotografo di Saluzzo che mi fece capire per davvero cos’è la fotografia, la luce, i colori, la composizione, la comunicazione.
Attualmente uso un’attrezzatura Professionale Canon in grado di produrre immagini di alta qualità, ma la fotocamera non è tutto.
Il segreto è nell’immagine che si vuole trasmettere, è il modo di comunicare le proprie emozioni, ognuno a modo proprio.

Let me introduce myself.
My name is Gianni, I was born on October 18 in 1971 in Piedmont, in a small town in the province of Cuneo where I still live.
Since I was a little boy, I have been keen on photography. I started snapping photos at random without having any technical knowledge.
I bought my first reflex camera in 1990, a Zenit one of Russian production, without having the slightest idea about how to use it.
The only photographer working in my town taught me the basics; thus I entered the wonderful world of photography. Shortly afterwards, I bought my first Canon camera and I threw myself heart and soul into my passion aiming at taking first- rate pictures.
In 2005 I bought my first digital Canon camera and I completely changed my way of taking photos in particular by stepping up production times.
What marked the real turning point was not the improvement of my equipment but a course I followed as well as the advice of an excellent photographer working in Saluzzo. He made me understand the real meaning of photography, light, colours, composition and communication.
Currently I am using a professional Canon camera which is able to take high-quality pictures, but the camera is not everything.
The secret lies in the picture we want to get across, and in the way everyone of us conveys his own feelings.
